A farm that

Cedar Mill Farm and Cabins sits on 354 Brighton Road in the quiet town of Athens, Maine — a place where the roads are gravel, the stars come out early, and your neighbors are more likely to be deer than drivers.

What began as a working farm has become a sanctuary for travelers who want something real: woodsmoke in the morning air, the sound of horses in the next field, and cabins built to feel like someone actually lives here — because they do.

Morning Feeds

Join us at dawn to feed the horses and goats. It's the kind of ritual that resets your entire week — and the animals are grateful for the company.

Foraged & Picked

Seasonal berries, wild herbs, and vegetables from the garden. Take what you find — and eat it that evening, prepared however you like.

Trail Walking

Miles of unmaintained footpaths across our property — through old fields, along a seasonal creek, and into stands of hemlock and spruce.

Evening Fire

Every evening, the fire pit is lit. Bring a blanket. Bring a book, or bring nothing at all. The stars are louder than any screen.
